Facilities : Most bus services pass through Newport on a regular basis. Red Funnel Ferries operate from Southampton with the car ferry going to East Cowes or there is a passenger ferry to West Cowes. Both Newport and Cowes have cycle hire centres. There are a number of hotels and B&B’s in the area as well as places to eat and drink.
